Founded in 1992 by Matthew Lightner, Lightner Electronics, Inc. is a full-service Broadcast Engineering and Audio Visual company that provides engineering, design, repair, equipment supply and turnkey installation. Matt Lightner, who serves as President of the Company, is certified as a Broadcast Engineer by the Society of Broadcast Engineers. Matt has won numerous awards in the electronics field and he currently serves as the Engineering Consultant for the “PAB” Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters, a board member, and as the Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Emergency Communication Committee. Matt also serves on the occupational advisory committee at the Altoona, PA Career and Technology Center. Lightner Electronics takes great pride in the engineering, technical support and mission critical systems services to “PEMA” Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to make certain that the Emergency Alert Systems that notify the citizens of Pennsylvania of emergencies are in full and continuous operations 24/7. Lightner Electronics has also supplied products and services to many small, medium and large market radio stations, radio groups, radio networks, TV stations, government agencies, universities, churches and commercial businesses. Our track record has been built upon the design and building of over 130 broadcast studios, 40 radio transmitter sites and a very large number of Audio Visual installs for the religious, educational and commercial facilities.
